Program Cancellation on the Day of the Event

Inclement Weather

Inclement weather is any severe or hazardous weather conditions, including but not limited to blizzards, flooding, or violent storms. If such conditions create safety concerns for staff or participants, CGST Toronto may cancel the program. Participants will be notified by email at least 1 hour before the scheduled start time. 

CGST Toronto monitors weather conditions closely. If you have not received a cancellation notice 1 hour prior to the event, please plan to attend as scheduled.

Health Concerns

If an instructor or host becomes ill, or if a public health concern or outbreak arises, CGST Toronto may cancel the program. Participants will be notified by email at least 1 hour before the scheduled start time.

Other Unforeseen Circumstances

Programs may also be cancelled due to unexpected situations, including but not limited to power outages, sudden community safety concerns, and other circumstances that prevent the program from being conducted safely or effectively.

Programs cancelled due to the reasons listed above will be rescheduled whenever possible. CGST Toronto is not responsible for programs missed due to participant absence.

To ensure timely communication, please ensure the email address provided during registration is accurate and up to date.

Advance Program Cancellation

Programs may be cancelled in advance due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, CGST Toronto will notify participants by email at least one week before the program start date. Any applicable program fees will be refunded.

Refund

All program fees are non-refundable unless cancellation notice is provided at least two weeks before the program start date.

If CGST Toronto cancels a program, participants will receive a full refund.
